So I've been working on a video montage for my brother and his fiance to play at the reception of their wedding. Kinda like my wedding gift to them. After lots of editing and re-editing, I think I finally have a completely finished version. Anyway, I'll be storing copies of the video on CDs to give to the bride and groom, my mom, my dad, and the bride's parents. Awhile back, I got the idea to make custom-designed labels for them, instead of just writing on the CD. So I bought a kit yesterday and have been playing around with designing the CD. I still have the jewel case inserts to make, but I thought I'd share what I have so far to get some opinions. Ignore the outlines around the CD and text. This is a screenshot from inside the program and those won't show when printed. My brother and his fiance are totally not expecting anything like this, so that'll be a nice little surprise for them.

Thanks. :]
Only about 2 more days left for me to get the case front and back graphics done.. I hate being rushed. I can't seem to figure out how I want to design the front, haven't even started on the back yet, every idea I come up with looks good in my mind but I don't like it on the screen. Frustrating! I still have to pack too.. haha. =x

(( Sorry for the double post! )) Well, I edited the CD label a little more and finished the case front and back inlay labels. Now all I have left is the very back label. (Better view of the cd label, taken from the print preview mode) (Front insert label for the case) (Back panel of the case, goes behind where the CD is stored) So yeah, one more and I'm finally done with this whole project. *** EDIT *** I think this last label is my favorite also. I'm finally done!!! Now to figure out how to get them to print correctly....
